There is nowhere else like the Gästehaus Berge. Nils Holger Moormann has created an extraordinary hotel here in the former country school in Aschau. It all starts with the construction helmets displayed at the entrance – you are immediately in the winking atmosphere of the house. The rooms are unique, called “Sommerloch” with a terrace and a room divider that looks like a sculpture, or “K3” kitchen and Kampenwand view or “Bergebude” with the special beds. If you like, breakfast will be served in front of your room, so that you can enjoy the room also for your first meal. You can also go into the garden, where you can watch the hikers going up the lamp wall in gondolas.
Those who want to learn something about the area can browse in the Literatenstüberl or simply experience the house with its playful details, the request for a night’s rest between three and five o’clock in the morning or even a fire extinguisher that is on two firefighter’s gloves.
In addition, there is a caring service, including red wine in your room or the wine cellar, which is open to everyone, or the “berge” magazine, which gives you best-of-tips on the surroundings.
